The main electrical panel in your home should be replaced every 25-30 years as parts become old and corroded. Panels and circuit breakers, just like all mechanical devices, are not built to last forever. We recommend to replace your old panel in your home BEFORE it becomes a safety hazard, especially if you are still using a screw-in fuse panel. We specialize in 200 amp service upgrades and panel replacements. The photo above is one of our 200 amp upgrades in East Gwillimbury.
If you do need to replace your main panel, consider getting a 200 amp service upgrade at the same time. This will give you the additional capacity for future heavy electrical loads such as electric vehicle chargers, hot tubs, and additions to your home. For a typical 200 amp upgrade we handle all co-ordination and permits with the ESA and your electric utility provider, and have the power to your home safely disconnected in the morning and reconnected later the same day. We replace the conduit and wires from the panel to the meter outside, the main panel with a new Square D panel, put in all new breakers, clean up and organize the wires coming into the panel, and label the panel clearly. For overhead services, we also replace the conduit mast on the side of the house.
We are experienced and certified installers of home electric vehicle chargers s and receptacles for any type of electric vehicle or hybrid. First we will confirm that your panel can handle the charger you want to install, and explain what options you have if your panel is already too full.
For an accurate quote, please email as much information as possible: Some photos of where you want the charger, the route between the charger and main panel, and of the panel. Also please include the approximate distance to the panel, the make/model of the vehicle, and the power rating of the charging station (if applicable) marked in W or kW.
Replacing your fluorescent fixtures with LEDs will save money and time for your business, as well as give it an updated modern look. For larger jobs, we can give you a breakdown of your projected energy cost savings, maintenance cost savings, and help with the government rebates available to you. You will be able to see how long it will take for this upgrade to pay for itself, based on the type of lights being replaced and their regular usage.
